Contact / Report an Error

Found a broken link, an outdated instruction, or a claim that doesn't check out? Tell us. We read everything, we fix what's fixable, and material corrections go into the public corrections log.

How to reach us

We deliberately don't run a contact form — that means there's no server collecting your message, which fits the site's privacy posture. Instead, email us at:

hello@myparentsareaging.com

What makes a report most useful:

  • the page URL (copy it from the address bar);
  • what you expected vs. what you saw;
  • for device instructions: device model and operating-system version (e.g., "iPhone 13, iOS 18");
  • a screenshot if it helps (no need for personal information in it).

What happens next

  1. We read your report and confirm what we can verify.
  2. If it's wrong, we fix the page and update its last-reviewed date.
  3. If it's material, we add it to the corrections log with the date and what changed.
  4. Serious safety errors are repaired immediately — no waiting for a review cycle.

What we can't help with

We're a small site with clear limits, and we'd rather tell you the truth than point you wrong:

  • Individual medical, legal, or financial situations. Please work with the parent's clinicians, a lawyer in their state, or a financial professional. Our Care & Safety page lists where to start (including the Eldercare Locator).
  • Scam recoveries where money was already lost. The fastest path is the fraud line of the bank/company involved, then reportfraud.ftc.gov and ic3.gov — see the first-hour playbook.
  • Product support. For a device question, the manufacturer's support page (Apple, Google, Microsoft, your TV brand) is the authoritative place — our Explain It tool points you to those.

Privacy note

If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to respond and resolve it, and we don't add you to any list. Details in the privacy policy.
