My Parents Are Aging. You don't have to figure it all out yourself.

Practical help with their tech, scams, home, planning, and care — for the adult child who just got promoted to family IT, driver, and document wrangler. No fear-mongering, no jargon, no judgement.

Both tools work entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere or stored.

Start with whatever is happening right now

Pick the situation that sounds like your week. Every card leads to something you can do today.

Browse by problem

Everything on the site is organized around the problems you actually hit, not around departments.

How this site works — and what it won't do

Practical first

Every page answers "what do I do now?" The tools work even if our servers (or anything else) are having a bad day — the scam checker runs entirely in your browser.

Evidence over alarm

We cite government and manufacturer sources for anything safety-related, date every recommendation, and correct our mistakes in public. See the editorial policy.

Private by default

No accounts, no tracking scripts, no ads. The scam checker never sends or stores what you paste. We record only anonymous, aggregate counts in your own browser — see exactly what.

Honest about limits

We are not doctors, lawyers, or financial planners, and we won't pretend to be. When something needs a professional, we say so clearly. More about us.

Two tools that work right now

Scam Risk Check

Paste a suspicious text, email, or describe a phone call. Get a risk band, the warning signs, what not to do, a safe verification path, and reporting links. Deterministic, private, no account needed.

Open Scam Risk Check

Explain It to Mom/Dad

Pick a device and a task — make the text bigger, silence unknown callers, switch the TV input. Get simple steps with "what you should see," plus print and large-print versions.

Questions people ask before trusting a site like this

Is this site really free?

Yes. The tools and every guide are free, with no account and no ads. If we ever add affiliate links or paid products, we will say so in plain language on the page — see How We Make Money. Right now we make nothing, and that's fine: trust is the product.

Is this medical, legal, or financial advice?

No. It's practical, general guidance for common situations. When a decision could affect medical care, legal rights, or money, we tell you to involve the right professional and we say why. Read the editorial policy for the details.

Will the scam checker send my parent's message anywhere?

No. The analysis runs in your browser. We deliberately do not store, send, or log the text you paste — and we ask you not to paste passwords, codes, or account numbers in the first place.

My situation is complicated. Where do I start?

Start with the problem that is causing the most stress, not the biggest one. Check the Care & Safety section for the "questions to ask before a crisis" approach, and the Money & Planning section for documents. One page at a time is the whole method.
